Time For An Apology Ann

Apparently Ann Coulter gave a speech at CPAC in which she stated "as a new post 9/11 rule":Quote:
“Rag-head talks tough, rag-head faces consequences.”
If it turns out that she was misquoted then forget all that follows. But if not, (and many people I would trust report that is what she said), what an utterly despicable and nauseating comment. I wonder if Ann, who supports the Iraq war, realizes that many Americans died liberating those "ragheads" over in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Some might try to rationalize her statement by saying she qualified the remarks only to those Arabs that threaten America. That would be laughable

Such a rationalization would remind me of the first jury trial I ever did as a prosecutor. The defense attorney was black. During jury selection one woman said she couldn't be a fair an impartial juror. When we questioned her individually she said that while she "wasn't a racist" she'd have trouble believing the black defense attorney - even though he didn't seem as bad as all the other ones she knew.

Ann, as much as I love your writing and agree with much of what you say, you should apologize for your comment. It was wrong.
