So you are arguing, if I understand you, that most conservatives did not hold anti-Japanese sentiment? You are arguing, if you are arguing with me, that the prevailing sentiment in this country was not against the Japanese. It's a strage argument to make, imo.

I'm not telling you there weren't people who stood up to anti-Japanese sentiment- I'm arguing anti-Japanese sentiment was the dominant sentiment on the part of most of the country. If you can find a poll showing me it wasn't, feel free, but otherwise we are both really wasting our time here.
