Nixon "got us out" of Vietnam after delaying for five long years after anyone with common sense knew that it was a quagmire based on a lie with no reason to be going on besides fear of "losing". Nixon was therefore directly responsible for the deaths of some 45,000 Americans, more than a million Vietnamese and deficit spending which we still have not paid off. Sound familiar? Yes, Bush is doing the same damn thing in Iraq. It needs to end, these kind of dishonest wars. Vietnam was no serious threat to us, and neither (now that we know the WMD intel was fabricated) was Saddam.
