LOL... yes, especially the old testiment... 'eye for an eye', hateful stuff, etc. Goes directly against teachings of Christ as far as I can see. I don't know what happend to the "Christ" in Christianity. About a zillionth of what's in the bible is actually atributed to him. Even simply chopping out the OT and revelations would eliminate about 4/5 of it. I think the "council of Nicea" must have been a bunch of drunks. Religion is just more institutions... original teachings of the great teachers OTOH (Buddha, Krishna, Christ, Lao Tzu, etc) seem astoundingly in agreement, and probably hold tons of truth. Killing and hate don't hold up well in any of them. DAK
