Sure, Rice Hooe didn't do the beating (at least as far as you know)...And wife #3 sure didn't. But, it really doesn't matter what Mr. Rice Hooe did or didn't do...it was his life to live. He had his life, and we have ours. It is up to each one of us to make something of ourselves or not. The choice is ours to make. I don't know anything about the Jamestowne Society...what are the guidelines for membership? We REALLY enjoyed our trip to Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown this fall! And will be coming back one day, hopefully in the next year or two. We had the most wonderful guide, and will be happy to share his name via PM if you ever have need of someone who really knows his subject...!
