Another part of this incident which seems to me to be in violation of the law if what I read is true is that they were driving down the road when they saw the birds, then got out of the car to shoot at them. I know this is against the law in my state but I don't know if it is in Texas or if being on private property might make it legal. Road hunters have always been looked down upon where I come from but what would you expect form a man like Cheney who enjoys killing birds which other people release like on his canned hunt with scalia before one of cheney's cases came before the supreme court.
