Tim, I have a couple of ReplayTVs - and they, as Tivo, have hard disk issues. Some believe the hard disks are running too hot -hotter than in a PC. And they sure are working hard 24/7! You will find many fora on the net to help you with this. Search on disk failure Tivo. I wanted to replace my original small disk (40 G?)with one or two large ones anyway, to get 240 G for capacity reasons, and have no problems now. I also installed a fan. Lars
