As is Taos, north of Santa Fe. There are MANY formerly obscure western towns following that trend. Were I a real estate speculator, I would look hard at Idaho, Wyoming, and Montanta. Land values are going sky high based on TWO phenomena:

The California tax refugees (Las Vegas is FULL of those, also.)

The emerging internet-based world that allow many to work thousands of miles away from the old 20th century rat races.

And #2 is still in its very early stages...
