The Columbia Glacier was one I camped across from for three days. In the total wilderness. Once in awhile a cruise ship would come by in the far distance. Since I was first there the glacier is half its former size. I saw photos of a friend who went on a recent cruise there then compared them to my 1976 photos. Half the size. The glacier could disappear within 30 years. One of the biggest in the world.
