David Gregory and all his bile is there to see on the White House website (under Press Conferences). In fact, it is just an amazing Transcript.

These press people are children. Spoiled, ego driven, narcissistic children. Many Many important things going on in the world today, and yet, these twerps focus on an accident, and why they weren't called the instant it happened.

It happened Saturday evening. Give the poor people involved a break. First let them get the man to the hospital (probably at least a couple of hours) Then let them figure out how to clean him up and see what the damage was. If any of you have been to the emergency rooms recently, you know that at a minimum you are there at least 4-6 hours, and then you might be admitted, or not as the case may be. The President was notified that night I believe. Scott was notified early on Sunday morning.

Cheney was with the family...his and his friends....Why was/is the press so insistent that it needed to know right away? Could they have done anything about it?

I notice Time magazine has a cover story (see the online copy just now....1:11 AM PST on Tuesday Feb 14, not quite 14-15 hours from the scandalous press conference.

The media should be ashamed of themselves for such a lack of professionalism.
