Speaking as somone who thinks that the terrorist threat has been grossly exaggerated as a priority, I don't find partisan put-down in Nadine's observation.

My reply was in response to Nadine's assumption that the Left cannot be serious about the WOT if it is not their top priority.

I think is is quite possible to be serious about an issue that is lower down on the list of priorities.
