Wow. Didn't know they started them that young.

I can understand teen, but pre-teen & pre-pre-teen and the kindergarden set?
AND the pre-kinders?

What parent buys their offspring who are still in the undifferentiated-pre-apoptosis stage a toy that costs over $200? A fragile one at that? (I know, iknow, one that bought a lot of Apple stock at $13 :-))

Whats next?

The iRattle?

On another note, OT, I was in a toy store the other day, eh, buying for a friend. I was looking for a squishy toy that makes a sound - practically all of that type of toy has some stupid electronic gadget which makes the sound (a good amount of the "try me" ones didn't work - bad battery) and another good amount sounded horribly distorted (which might explain kids tastes in music nowadays:-)). What ever happened to the simple squishy thing that makes noise because air is squished through it? No batteries, maybe not the most beautiful sound, at least it's not trying to be something that it is not and making distorted sounds and ruining kids' sound perceptions. Rubber ducky should go sweak-squaw when you squeeze it, not play "old MacDonalds Farm" a tenth of an octave too low! And the lumpy feeling those electronic things have - well, maybe it's good practice for detecting cancer.

Maybe that leaves an opening for the iToy - similar to the iFlea (remember that recent parody?), where you download one song from your iTunes and it plays it in high fidelity sound over and over and over (perfect for the pre kindergarden set) and over and over and over and over and over (anyone with kids can relate to this!) and over and over
