<<Solv-Ex had no product-the company was a fraud and it was obvious except to stupid retail investors.
Bre-X had no gold-also a fraudulent operation.>>
I don't think the victims of these scams were "stupid". Many fund managers and insititutional investors were completely blindsided. In the Bre-X debacle, J.P. Morgan got burned...so did Fidelity.
<<Avant! has top notch products>>
Sure...since much of the core code and database was stolen form another top-notch company....Cadence.
<<Comparing AVNT to Bre-X or Solv-Ex is inaccurate and you are deluding yourself.>>
Inaccurate...perhaps. Whereas the Bre-X and Solv-ex scams involved the top management commiting the felonies of fraud and matterial misrepresentations, the Avant scam involves the top management commiting the felonies of theft and conspiracy.
We are hardly "deluding" ourselves. LOL!!!!
<<Asensio has cost its clients a bundle on AVNT. That is the fact of the matter, If their customers followed their advice they lost money. Thats the bottom line.>>
Asensio has made his clients fortunes on his past recommendations. By the way, you may want to check out Asensio's record on his long picks also. Asensio issued his strong sell recommendation in early August. We are only a month and a half out. The bottom line is that you can't judge a stock pick in the very short term. I'm short for the long haul, and have every confidence that the stock price will eventually reflect the true condition of Avant.
By the way, your arguments sound lame, I wouldn't even go as far as calling them "sophistry" bercause you haven't said anything clever yet. Hypesters picked on Asensio in the Solv-ex thread also...but to no avail. The company eventually buried itself. Avant will also bury itself.
If you have any real information to share about Avant, then we would be thrilled to hear it, otherwise please spare us your schoolyard taunting about the hourly price movement - it's boring, and you are not changing anyone's mind - in fact you are probably having the opposite effect.. |
