MENLO PARK, CA and OAKBROOK TERRACE, IL--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 14, 2006 -- PassMark Security, Inc., the leader in strong mutual authentication for online banking and e-commerce, and VASCO Data Security International (Nasdaq:VDSI), the global number one vendor of strong user authentication and e-signature products, have partnered to deliver a one-stop combination of software- and hardware-based authentication products for online transaction security.

The agreement calls for joint sales and marketing by PassMark and VASCO. PassMark has enabled access to VASCO's authentication backbone, VACMAN Controller; joint customers can now use VASCO credentials with the PassMark platform to deliver a comprehensive authentication solution for online banking.

Now financial institutions, e-commerce providers and corporations can offer their customers and employees a complete online security package that brings together the pioneering Two-Factor Two-Way Authentication(TM) system from PassMark with the complete range of VASCO's hardware and software Digipass and VACMAN strong user authentication products.

PassMark's leading authentication platform for online banking and e-commerce provides strong, secure protection against a variety of online fraud techniques, including phishing, identity theft, key logging and man-in-the-middle attacks. The system includes both Two-Factor Two-Way Authentication(TM) and real-time, risk-based transaction analysis that together provide end-to-end security during login and throughout the transaction process.

VASCO's products encompass a wide selection of hardware- and software-based strong authentication products in the Digipass and VACMAN product family. VASCO is in the process of developing password, PKI/security certificate and biometric-based products under its recently unveiled Full Option All-Terrain strategy.

Together, PassMark and VASCO offer products and services for everything from two-way customer and company authentication to high-value online transactions and secure remote network access for mobile professionals. Customers can choose from a broad array of software, device types and platforms.

"Our customers recognize that a complete end-to-end layered authentication solution is the only way to completely protect their customers from fraud," said Bill Harris, PassMark chairman and founder. "By combining our products with VASCO's, we provide financial institutions many more options to offer their customers."

"The partnership with PassMark proves once more that VASCO's VACMAN Controller and Digipass strong authentication products enjoy high market esteem all over the world," said Jan Valcke, VASCO's president and COO. "We believe that together, we can make the Internet a safer business channel."
