But every expert interviewed stressed that the shooter is responsible for avoiding other people." It seems that hunting safety experts think like I do; when you have a gun in your hands you don't shoot unless you know what you're shooting toward. It's not the sole responsibility of the other hunter to warn when you don't know the location of one of the two men out with you. Have you had trouble getting guys to hunt with you a second time? Ed
