Anywhere in the western world with a culture the radical Islamists claim to despise, any of the target countries for the caliphate and everywhere else in the world where they might find a soft target related to one of the above.

The pattern of Al Qaeda attacks going back to its origins reflects that.

There is also no proof Al Qaeda has a fixed pool of followers, meaning a fight in Iraq takes away their resources elsewhere. You could equally suppose that the greater the conflict, the more recruits they can sign up. The Iraq conflict would be a major inspiration for more terrorism in that event.
