To anyone out there who has the time, can you please give me some definitions on the different terms used such as ATM, frame relay switch, internet backbone, remote access switch? I'm an investor who does not have a clue what all this techno babble means and also very heavily invested in Ascend because of all the hoopla about the internet, but really don't know exactly what the company does. I hear the internet is growing larger and larger with more people logging on everyday. How will this growth help Ascend in the long run? Right now I'm still holdin on but my grip is loosening.
