I fear we have miscommunicated....My post was in response to Karen Lawrence's post about someone receiving jail time for failure to have tags, and a previous post about possible jail time for the VP. This is a different can of worms in my opinion.

It is my position that only thing newsworthy about this story is who the shooter happened to be. Bird and small game hunters getting peppered or "sprinkled" by friends and others in the field is not uncommon. I personally have been hit with pellets and know of plenty of others that have been on both sides of these incidents. It is clear that the penetration aspect of this case is far greater than average, but it is still an accident and nothing rare at all.

Luckily, I have yet to witness one of these accidents that involved the police or game wardens....and certainly unaware of a case where the shooter would be in charge of releasing medical info on the "victim". The idea that any shooter including the VP has the right to release such private information is absurd at best.

This story have been mishandled all around and beat to death.
