Al Qaeda was never in Iraq.. Was in Afghanistan and there may have been cells in other places.. But what happened ? Bin Laden and his second in command still spouting their message with impunity.. Going to Iraq has created a situation where they did not finish the job in Afghanistan and created a public relations nightmare, all the goodwill has disappeared, 200B plus and counting, there are now terrorists in Iraq when before there were none, Iraq is now in Iran's sphere of influence with majority of the population taking their cue from there..

And you think all of this was success ?

You don't think with resources tied up and spent in Iraq, Al Qaeda in Afghanistan, and all the other cells would have been wiped out ?? If you believe that, then there is not much hope, is there ??.
