I'm not a naysayer here.. just trying to be pragmatic.. Where you live you have the same weather problems as I do although mine are less extreme.. An electric ar would do me just fine most of the time for city driving.. and you are right ... the batteries would likely make up the weight... or throw a few bags of sand in the back each winter :O) as long as it has air and good sound .. oh and a coffee cup holder LOL.. We already limit the usage of the big AWD beast... but it still has its uses :o)
