It's completely unAmerican to grant citizenship based on ethnicity alone, and deny citizenship to stateless people born on the country's soil because their mother isn't Jewish. It's the opposite of all men being created equal.

to which you reply:

US would revoke your citizenship if you would renounce it and join bin Ladin. That is exactly what happened. Arabs who stayed serve in Israeli Army and defend their nation against external enemies.

That is not at all exactly what happened. A better analogy would be if Bin Laden moved into Oregon and took it over and declared it a new state he called Osamaland. Oregonians that sided with him could be Osamalandis, and Oregonians that resisted him were suddenly the enemies of Osamaland who want to (in your words) exterminate the Osamalandis. Well guess what? The totally normal reaction by the Oregonians would be to want to get rid of the Osamalandis.

And anyway the point is not whether or not non-Israelis are justified in disliking Israel - it's how to solve a 60 year conflict. Granting equality and citizenship to all ethnicities in the multi-ethnic region in dispute is the long term solution that makes the best sense to me.

Why don't you want to make the Palestinians the Israelis' ally instead of their enemy? Invite them into the tent and share the tent, as has been done in that region for thousands of years.
