I guess the VP's strategy has been to lowkey contacts with the media, delete any and all reference to alcohol present with the hunting party, and play off the humor card. If Whittington's injuries were minor perhaps they could get away with it. Unfortunately, for Whittington, Cheney, GOPwingers, et. al., the injuries are not of a minor nature. talkingpointsmemo.com
