Good example-
I remember CW being on a debate team. He could argue either side of the issue at enormous speed and with great conviction.
It didn't matter at all what the opposition said- he'd hear a key word, and the response poured out. It's much like that around SI.

But the thread has also developed an acceptance of certain positions on Bush that are not always based only on facts, but conclusions and opinions based on what facts we have. So others with different conclusions can't really be blamed for challenging those. It wouldn't be fair to expect them to sit quietly by. That's why I think it's important to try to restrain the more wild rhetoric and the challenging tone, and why I harp on it until I know people want to stuff my white gloves down my throat.
