<Gary, you are joking, I hope. You didn't really ride ASND all the way down to the low 30's, then short it?>
James,
All I can say in response to your email is that, as soon as Kumar suggested (pleaded?) that I eliminate my substantial long position in favor of a short position, I made plans to do just that the very next morning. That next a.m., ASND went up for the first time in a very long time. (Kumar's post to me is required reading on this matter, as is my initial post on this issue.)
Today for the second day, and further following Kumar's request, I knew that I needed to average "up" the short position, particularly as I knew that the NTT news likely would give me an "uptick" opportunity. Alas, ASND closed up today as well.
I've not heard from Kumar tonite, but I'm confident he would suggest that I again average up the short position. I therefore intend to do so tomorrow at market open.
I hope this answers your question.
