>>Some shipments of MacBook Pros to be delayed ...<<

Winston -

Yes, I got an e-mail from Apple late yesterday, saying that my upgraded MacBook Pro order would ship by February 28. I ordered it the day it was announced, on January 10th.

WLD, now I do feel as though Apple screwed up its product pipeline. Obviously, they knew before yesterday that my unit wouldn't ship today. Yet the estimated shipping date on their order status page wasn't changed until yesterday.

It is still an upgrade, which mollifies me some. But it does raise questions about just what happened here. Once again, Apple has chip supply problems. With the Intel switch, one would have thought that wouldn't happen anymore.
