"Vote fore Kerry? Vote for Gore? Or did not vote?"

none of the above.

"Oh, I understand perfectly ... long and proud history

What you have demonstrated over your long history at SI is a determined lack of concern for understanding and a disregard for balanced reason.

It is none of your business who I voted for but I am not ashamed to have voted for a third party candidate. The dem/repub campaigns lost credibility before voting time. It became more about picking a prom queen from your favorite click, than a leader who would best represent American principles. I actually think there are plenty of good people from both parties who could do a good job; but, the three ring circus around the campaigns left both parties wanting with regard to respectful value centered platforms (Did Bush go to parties as a teenager, did Kerry forget the exact date he crossed the border of Cambodia 30 years ago ... OH MY!!!). I also felt there were some important issues that were not being promoted to the official debate forum and that support of third party candidates is one way to ping the conscience of society. Granted that doesn't bring about immediate change but it is important to encourage a broad perspective in public view.
