"However, apparently you don't understand that " way they handle them" in a situation such as this does not require them to give up personal honor at the bequest of a corrupt media frenzy."

Who's talking about giving up personal honor? Honor is a man who immediately comes forward and says here's what happened, I exercised poor judgement, someone got hurt and I apologize.

That's the way strong, honest people deal with adversity. How did Cheney do? He let his friends blame the victim. He let his friends downplay the seriousness of the injuries to a "broke the skin" charade. He's waiting to tell his story until he knows how the friendly story the spinners planted will hold up. He's taken no responsibility. Now that the press is not letting go, however, he'll have to.

Where's the "honor" in that? Ed
