There is one other thing about moderateism--lets admit to our mistakes instead of blowing smoke. What got the left riled up with cheney most of all is that they think what cheney did with the hunting was a try for benign neglect or smoke blowing to cover up a mistake. When i switched my postion from support on iraq to Timeline about 6 months ago, I did that because it had become to clear to me that rummy and this admin were blowing smoke. What really pissed me off is that even some of the dumber and shriller leftys knew this before me. Just like in vietnam, the extremists occasionally hit on a truth that we mods are blinded to.
