Shack,

An alternate count (to the ED count) which I believe is still on the table....

Wave 5 up out of the Oct 02 lows completed Jan 05

Then we began a 3-3-5 expanded flat

Wave A down (3 wave move) ended April 05

a of B up completed Aug 05
b of B down completed Oct 05
c of B up with C=A would be around 2355 (although there is possibly 5 waves into the Jan 06 high).

If this count is correct, short term breakout players should have their stops close at hand. Intermediate term, C down should retrace all of wave B and end significantly below the low of A at 1889.83 (unless it turns into a running flat). Long term, HEY we're two thirds of the way thru the correction and another big 5 wave move up should follow :)

Any and all comments welcome. I apologize for the lack of chart, but I'm too cheap to pay for annotations.
