< Not to say they can't overcome it but ASMLF, Canon and Nikon are a formidable trio.> Isnt it the other way around as far as overcomming "where the industry is headed" (step and scan) is concerned? ie. the formidable trio should be able to catch up but...... My understanding is: 1.) DUV is the cats pajamas 2.) Step and Scan is where everyones headed to do it. 3.) SVGI is the ONLY one currently shipping step and scan (micrascan). 4.) The others have at least till april (Cymer supposedly ships their next generation laser then) before they can start. I understand that you cant compare SVGI to these giants, but they do have somewhat of a head start right? And who knows what bumps the others will find along the road with their different designs? Love to hear your thoughts...and thanks ahead of time! DAK
