Tough for anyone outside of the bubble markets to comprehend. I do think the hurricane issues makes places like Key West much more vulnerable than say a Santa Barbara or Martha's Vineyard. Wealthy people want these special places constrained to development but let's be real here Key West is the front pin in hurricane alley..
