Let's be balanced about it; I said to someone before that it depends very much on the assumptions you make. If you assume that tax cuts revived the economy, they would count that as a success. Others think it's just the business cycle at work and deficits from tax cuts are bad.

Others would say no US-based terrorist incidents since 9/11 is an accomplishment. Others would say OBL has no real intention of attacking the US further since he wants to build his caliphate in the ME, and our actions in Iraq are helping him.

The only unambiguous fault I have seen in Bush's record is the lack of growth in real wages for most Americans. All economists agree on that, which accounts for much of the dissatisfaction with the economy today despite sound macro numbers.
