Something occurred to me that I had not even considered before until just a few minutes ago.

I am going to try and find ways in TA with a system that would help me enter and exit stocks that have good fundamentals priced $2-$5. I want to try to make another system test that would be good for $5-20 stocks with high volatility (meaning it trades alot daily).

So, what I am thinking here is 2 separate systems for 2 separate kind of stocks. This makes sense to me to do this as the TA on these two kinds of groups are most likely going to be different.

Then this morning I was looking over a couple of hundred charts looking and watching different patterns and test be performed. I ran a test on CAG, Conagra and I noticed that using one test, it showed an 81% profit. This was only for one trade, but it was interesting as it caught my eye. If I applied the different tests for different kinds of stocks, there is no reason I couldn't have one system that works real well on just one stock. Maybe the other systems do ok on this stock, but if I had a system that would put me into a trade once a month on a constant basis and it proved to get me 30%, it would be a good system. Yet this same system might not be good for anything else but this one stock.

Just food for thought. I am sure most of you probably have seen this too and maybe you have a favorite indicator/system for just a few select stocks you watch and you keep getting into it and exiting routinely for a profit.
