Yesterday on the TSX Venture Exchange
TSX Venture Exchange volume amounted to 129 million shares traded on Wednesday as advancing volume led declining volume 57 million shares to 55 million shares. Activity was spread over 1427 issues, 445 advanced, 615 declined and 367 remained unchanged. New highs outpaced new lows 47 to 25. Wednesday's most active issue was Coalcorp Mining Inc. (CCJ) with volume of 8.151 million shares traded. CCJ closed up $0.03 at $ 0.61. Montello Resources Ltd. (MEO) closed down $ 0.015 at $ 0.135 on volume of 6.833 million shares swapped. Previa Resources Ltd. (PIA.H) closed down $0.01 at $0.075 on volume of 4.374 million shares traded GGL Diamond Corp. (GGL) down $0.105 at $0.26 on volume of 3.036 million shares exchanged. The fifth most active issue on Wednesday was Golden Goose Resources Inc. (GGR) with volume of 2.409 million shares swapped. GGR closed up $0.20 at $0.62.
