I don't see anything wrong with getting a revised FISA from Congress. In fact, a revised FISA is absolutely necessary given the fact that it takes weeks it takes to get an order from the Intelligence Court. In this day and age, the delays could be costly.

The problem is that FISA is antiquated, a creature of the 1978 Church hearings. The kinds of threats we now face and the technological progress since then have changed everything. Period. Full stop.

But getting a revised FISA would be difficult in this day and age as we can be well-assured that the hearings would focus on the recent issues facing the Adminsitration instead of on the reasons why a revision is absolutely necessary. Even seeking a revision would be pointed out as an admission of guilt.
