I'm using ZoneAlarm's free firewall. This was the first thing that I checked. I've given "User Interface" full permission to access the internet. According to ZA, "User Interface" is linked to the path that leads to "msascui.exe". So, I should be able to connect to Microsoft's update server.

I normally use Firefox as my browser. However, I've given IE permission to be my default browser. This didn't fix my problem. I'm checking on my Microsoft Automatic Updates to ensure it's working ok. However, I've been receiving automatic updates. However, I choose the time to install them. Is this a problem? I won't think so.

Curtis, I want to thank you for your help.
