AH, but between Windows and Macs - which one shuts down faster?

Most of my Macs take well under a minute. Actually usually a few seconds for OSX except for G3s. OS9 is good also.

My PCs take about the same time as a Mac only if I use my big aluminum baseball bat to shut them down. Or a well aimed semiautomatic. Or if I throw a meat cleaver at the power cord {oooh- fireworks!}. Atomics work well and their response time is in the milliseconds, but shutting down this way might affect your Macs somewhat.

But, as you know, forcing a shut down on a PC using above mentioned efficient methods tends to extend the boot up time for the next day. But you can always get another cup of coffee or two while you wait.

At least the Mac "knows" that I WANT TO GO HOME!!!!!
