I use a proprietary system combining charting/trend lines, market sentiment, gut feel and BS <VBG>

Seriously getting the exact top or bottom is not something anyone can do with any consistency IMO. I started selling a little early this time I think Jan 17 was my heaviest selling day so I missed some of that final move into the end of January.

I think one of the best tools is trend lines. When you recognize trend line support and it breaks usually its a good sign particularly on these parabolic type moves we have seen recently.
