<Nonsense. There are two facts in my post:

1) Cheney had a beer(s) before shooting.

2) Cheney hit the hard stuff after the accident.>

1.) Facts have to have context to have meaning... and therefore some level of truth.
2.) Your context is, like everyone elses subjective.

The level of truth in your facts is something like this:

1.) Cheney has had a beer in his lifetime before the shooting. No context, and little meaning... other than of course your insertion of (s) distorting the original article with your subjectivity... probably taking #1 out of the 'fact' category as we normally use it.
2.) There is something called "hard stuff" which Cheney (according to you) "hit". "Hitting" from my subjective viewpoint is often used in the drinking subculture... such as "hitting the sauce" or some other suggestive usage. "Hard Stuff" is similar but more widely used term suggesting something stronger than beer or wine... again just my subjective take. It appears the article actually said "cocktail"... meaning your usage of "hard stuff" actually detracts from the level of truth in the original testimony by an eyewittness by inserting your own subjective opinion as to what they meant... and without further investigation probably eliminates your "fact #2" from actually being a fact.... in fact. :)

<<You should learn to separate facts from opinion.> My post was correct.>

For your post to 'be correct' in fact, you should have reprinted the original story as the best information possible at the moment. YOUR post was opinion via your posting it.

OTOH, my commentary is also just that... blithering, opinionated, commentary. -ggg-
