No,
What it's really about is that I think the Bush administration is spying for profit. They are using they spying to force their way into oil fields overseas, and attack their critics at home. In short they are corrupt.

I think they encouraged the "New Pearl Harbor" of terrorism to give them an excuse to gather financial data to loot the treasury and ruin their competition.
