If stray bombs killed your infant daughter, then they broke into your house in the dead of night, took your brother away and tortured him, then took your wife into custody hoping that you would turn yourself in for her release, you might reconsider. Or if the "freedom fighters", blew up my infant daughter, killed or tortured my brother because they worked with the new government... Or maybe if Saddam had gassed my infant daughter or tortured me, or killed my wife... The insurgents are doing a lot more damage to ordinary Iraqis than we are. We have hardly been flawless examples of moral perfection in Iraq but the actions you describe (other than the stray bomb) are more likely to be actions of our opponents. Tim
