Polls show the rightwing behind in 30 congressional races and 5 key senatorial races. IOf that holds, then DEms take back both houses. Rightwingers only are very unpopular. GOP moderates are very popular and most DEms are doing just fine. McCain is the likely 2008 nominee, a moderate-conservative. So the GOP's going to moderate anyway. It has no choice. The GOP needs to change faster than 2008 though. If they want to be popular again they need to start throwing their own corrupt bums out, policing themselves, starting with Cheney, Delay, Rove, Frist, Doolittle, Pombo, Norton, etc. All the proven-guilty ones first, then the rest can go as well, especially Bush.
