I'd say cheney probably had a list of suggested questions made for Hume before the interview. To insure that cheney wouldn't be asked an embarrassing question he refused to make it a live interview. He probably also made fox agree to allow cheney's men to edit the tape before it was broadcast. It wasn't really enough of an interview to even call it that. It was more like a prepared statement from cheney.
