The real question is do you deny the truth of the words you put in italics in your post to me?

They are no more the truth than the words coming out of Bush's mouth. CBC or CNN don't necessarily respect the religion of Islam; instead, they respect the right of Muslims to practice the religion of their choice. Part of the problem here is that people on the right have a limited respect for democracy. Democracy is fine so long as everyone is doing what righties think is acceptable. Before Muslims, they didn't like Jews. And before Jews, they didn't like Catholics. Righties always find a group not in favor and don't think are worthy of sharing what the rest of us have.

As for your last statement, most liberals I know fear the right, not Islam.

The most laughable excuse -- especially from the liberal, secular media like the CBC or CNN -- is that they "respect" Islam too much. Really? They respect a religion opposed to feminism, gay rights and abortion?

The liberal media doesn't respect radical Islam. It is afraid of radical Islam.
