How do you define "far left"?

Has "far left" been defined top include people who are unequivocally opposed to the monstrous litany of crimes the US has committed in Iraq the last few years. Crimes which most of the Democrats (with a few honorable exception like Russ Feingold, and Byrd) have basically supported.

If somebody who unequivocally opposes aggression and mass murder would lose 49 states then this nation is in far worse shape than even I had thought.
