I think like many other, you are focussed on the wrong issue about the Cheney incident.

I expect every leader to take responsibility for their own actions, more so from a constitutional officer which Cheney is and Libby and Rove are not.

Like many of you, I witnessed the Cheney interview and heard directly from the source. I came away in the middle. He provided some good reasons on why he was slow to act by coming to explain himself to the world about the "horrible accident" mind you not a "horrible incident." What I didn't like about the whole issue is that he failed to display leadership and instead opted to play it out through the ranch owner and others. He should have taken the responsibility and spoken directly to the American public sooner.

I live in California and I like what I see of the Governor of my state. His Propositions got defeated in the polls, he took the responsibility for the defeat, extended a olive branch to the Democrats (his opposition), hired the chief of staff of his former rival Governor out of his own free will (why won't he, after all he is married to a Kennedy) and we are moving on in California.

And here you are splitting hairs and being a partisan on a thread which advocates the contrary.
