I wonder when StockCharts.com will update their dynamic yield curve chart to show the 30 year bond? stockcharts.com What I find interesting on the charts I am watching is that the longer term bonds are dropping while the 30 day is still rising: investorshub.com This pushes us even closer to a full inversion. I know the inflation numbers will probably be adjusted to show less inflation than today's readings but two more rate hikes if they actually take place should produce a fully inverted yield curve. Will this time truly be different? Looking back even in 1998 when there was a partial yield curve inversion and no recession the S&P 500 still took a 20% haircut and it was much worse for the SOX.
