I think these are fairly accurate observations That's fine (although I don't think the Post is lefty). But it's not my point. Let me see if I can explain it better. You and I have both spent a lot of time on PfP. You perhaps failed to notice the incessant drone of damned-MSM this and damned-MSM that? On some days it seems like everything is a left wing media conspiracy. My point is not whether the MSM is lefty or not but that the engaged right wing is highly conscious of the MSM wars and the MSM frame comes easily to mind. It comes easily even to my mind now although I don't buy into it because I've had so much exposure to that frame on PfP. Without that exposure, I wouldn't even be aware of the MSM war. So, in summary, I was suggesting that your framing the incident was triggered by that high level of consciousness of the MSM conflict just as e has a high level of class-struggle consciousness. (Me, I look at most things first as systems problems. I can't help it. I spent thirty years designing systems and solving systems problems. My framing bias just doesn't happen to fit anywhere on the political continuum.<g>)
