From what I understand, the Okanogan is full of marijuana patches. The kids also don heavy duty canvas clothing and burrow into the middle of those giant blackberry patches all over the place. They clear out the center and plant their crops. Several sites were found recently up in the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie Nat Forest. Local and fed law enforcement use helicopters to survey.

I've also been told that the plants are growing in plain site along freeways and road sides, but I doubt that. I look occasionally and haven't seen a thing.

I wish the state would sell the damned stuff and tax the hell out of it.
