You're right, there are too many variables to be certain about the range and spread. All we can do is speculate.

My experience with shotguns tells me that when you get out past 90 feet, you get some spread and you lose punch too. I only shoot 12 ga myself, but have fired a friends 410 before. After shooting the 12 ga, a 410 is like shooting a bb gun.
